At The Ashley Inn
Enjoy the lobby of the Ashley Inn. Once you check in, you’ll find that all our guests have a cozy robe and fireplace waiting in their room. Lay back and refresh yourself, body and soul.
We’re ready when you are, with our 24 hour indoor pool and whirlpool spa. For your use we have provided two cozy white robes in each room just for the trip to the pool. Your towels are already in the Pool Room.
We offer our guests a small but effective exercise room that is always open for your use. (we guess it’s a good place to go AFTER the Cookies!)
8 pm. Every night we bake cookies and serve them to our guests with ice cold milk, or hot tea or coffee.
Enjoy complimentary DVD players and a nice selection of DVD’s to lend as our guests.
Wonderful treasures are hidden and displayed throughout the Inn, especially at Christmas time. Enjoy browsing the hallways and Cascade Room. You’ll find tea cups, hats, jewelry & plates, purses, books, scarfs, baby clothes, toys, stationery & other interesting things.
It’s where we serve the breakfast buffet every morning but for the rest of the day and night guests like to gather to play games or even bring food back to the inn to eat in this room. With it’s fireplace, it’s a cozy place to gather with your friends even on a rainy or snowy day.
Walk around the grounds at the Inn, sit and watch the birds and enjoy the sunshine. Perfect place for family reunions and weddings, also. Don’t be surprised to see deer enjoying our garden also, all year round.
Perfect place to gather beside the fire and make S’mores. Our BBQ is also available for our guests.
can be made available for events, retreats and meetings. It can be dressed up to be elegant or casual. The circle top windows look out over the Idaho Mountains.
In your room you’ll find our guest’s journals filled with entertaining entries of other’s experiences at the Inn and in Cascade. Some are very funny, other’s are very tender.

250 Groomed miles to Snowmobile
A secret that few people know about…Cascade has the best access to Lake Cascade.
Come enjoy fishing at our Lake Cascade, Idaho’s 4th largest. This body of water is the result of a dam on the North Fork of the Payette River, and stretches between the Idaho towns of Cascade and Donnelly. The 22 mile long lake offers 4,450 acres of Lake Cascade State Park which can be found just west of Cascade.
Fisherman catch Coho salmon, rainbow trout, perch and smallmouth bass, year-round including through the ice in the winter months.
Golfing, boating, fishing, biking, hiking is very popular with our guests. They love that the lake never seems crowded.
Boating equipment for rent, fishing gear and advice and food for picnics can be found in town.
The colors surrounding Lake Cascade remind us of the mountains of New England. The lake shimmers a little brighter and makes for some romantic strolls along the shore, hand in hand.
When God gives you ice…go Ice fishing…
Lake Cascade State Park offers plenty of winter waypoints Idaho Statesman ( Published: February 7, 2013)
Pete Zimowsky wrote “ a short detour off Idaho 55 gives snowmobilers, ice anglers, sledders, cross-country skiers and snowshoers access to the frozen lake, trails and winter camping.”
“Lake Cascade has a lot more than people think,” said Theresa Perry, park manager, as she checked out conditions at the Crown Point Trail near the reservoir dam. There are five plowed parking areas around the 26-mile-long, 3-mile-wide reservoir that offer quick access to recreation within steps of your vehicle. “It’s an easy way to have a variety of experiences, from ice fishing to skiing”. Teresa Perry said.
The park offers great scenery and winter photo opportunities just steps from the parking lots. The wide expanse of the snow-covered lake comes with a beautiful backdrop of West Mountain. Birds and waterfowl hang out near open water at or below the dam.

Hot Springs around Cascade
There is nothing as soothing as plunging into the natural hot water of Gold fork Hot Springs . The pools nestle against the natural massive rocks. Each person can select the perfect perch to rest and soak. Located just 16 miles from the Ashley Inn . Visit Gold Fork Hotsprings
Enjoy a relaxing experience in their alkaline, mineral-rich waters in a naturally beautiful setting. Pools range from hot to cool.
Trail Creek Hot Springs
Peekaboo pools in a wooded canyon below a highway. Keep cutoffs handy. The first pool sits in the creek beneath a slab of rock. Hot water streams down from the spring above at 122 degrees F, coating the slab with colorful algae patterns. Cold water is gravity-fed into the pool by pipe. A rocky border, which varies from one year to the next, defines the size and shape. (An old bathtub that once straddled the creek is long gone.) The pool is visible from the west end of the pull-out.
