Crown Point Trail

Located just seven minutes from The Ashley Inn is Crown Point Trail, located on Cascade Lake. This trail is about 2.5 miles long and is easy for hikers of all skills. Bring food for a picnic on the beach, right off the sandy path. 

Gold Fork Hot Springs 

Six rock pools range from 85 degrees to 110 degrees Fahrenheit at Gold Fork Hot Springs. Children can enjoy the sandy pool there, too. Don’t worry about walking around with your wet swimsuit under your clothes as you leave, as towels and changing rooms are available for your convenience. 

Blue Lake Walking Trail 

A longer drive from the Ashley Inn is the Blue Lake Walking Trail. The views of Long Valley decorate the 50-minute ride. Once you reach the trailhead, the trail itself is only a one-mile hike to Blue Lake. If you choose, go around the lake for three more miles for a little more exercise and additional views. 

Trail Creek Hot Springs

For a more private hot spring, visit Trail Creek Hot Springs. The two pools are a short distance from the trailhead, so you can get in a short hike as well as a soak. They are both rock-walled but is a natural hot springs in Idaho, as it’s found in nature.
