 Elk Feeding and Sleigh Rides

During the winter months at the Points Ranch in Donnelly, guests enjoy  the Hap and Florence Points Memorial Sleigh Rides, one of the most unusual and popular experiences to be found in Valley County. Visitors are taken on horse-drawn sleigh wagons to view and feed the huge herd of Rocky Mountain Elk that has been coming to the ranch for over 30 years.

Sleigh rides and elk feedings usually begin after Christmas but they start taking reservations from Dec 15th. The snow levels in the higher elevations bring the wild elk down to the meadow, so the openning date can change.

Reservations required.  Wagons leave about every hour  11am-4pm.
