We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to enjoy our new adventure on the Payette River Flyer. We are very excited the train has returned to the City of Cascade and Valley County this summer. As you may be aware, our train will look much different from previous years.

We are operating with two Budd Rail Diesel Cars  pulling a flat car modified to haul kayaks and rafts. These cars were purchased from another railroad located in Oregon and prior to that operated on the Lewis and Clark Explorer Train between Astoria and Portland, Oregon.   PayetteRiverFlyer.com for rates and more info.

Our train this summer is operating between Smiths Ferry and Cascade on Saturday and Sundays. We  have two scheduled trains from Smiths Ferry and one scheduled train Round Trip from Cascade. The trains operating from Smiths Ferry can haul rafters and kayakers one way to an unloading platform located just below the Cabarton Bridge. The general public can also board and ride the train from either Smiths Ferry or Cascade.

See Bear Valley Rafting.com for more info and rates.
